A few weeks back I had the amazing opportunity to partner with Redken for one of their 'Elite Salon Takeovers'! Moms need a break every now and again, am I right? So when Redken asked me to be a part of their event, I jumped at the chance!

When I walked into the gorgeous Avante Salon, in Exton, PA, I was greeted by the friendly staff and PR girls from Redken. Gabriella of Avante was chosen to be my stylist for the day. She is adorable! I truly appreciated how knowledgable and kind she is. I felt so relaxed and pampered!

Haley, of Redken, chose two treatments for my hair. The first was a pH-Bonder which is great for gals like me who get their hair colored often. It promotes bond strength during coloring resulting in softer, smoother and healthier hair. For blondes, this is the perfect treatment since lightening can be damaging. The pH-Bonder will strengthen your hair as you lighten it.


My second treatment was Redken's Shades EQ Gloss. This treatment has been crowned as "the hair color that thinks it's a conditioner"! It is the first ever acidic hair color making it less damaging than water because it's so close to hair's natural pH level. This treatment leaves your hair super shiny and glossy! Shades EQ is used by many celebrity hair stylists because of how effective it is at keeping hair shiny and healthy.


My final service was a Pillow Proof Blowout! This was the absolute best! It lived up to it's name and gave me an extra two days of not having to wash and blow dry my hair! How great is that??

In addition to a great blowout and amazing curls, Gabriella also created a voluminous wrapped pony tail. Talk about Pinterest hair! This pony was perfect for a chic night out or a casual relaxed look! I love a versatile classic pony tail!
