I know what you're thinking... why on earth would we be test driving a compact SUV with three kiddos?? Truth be told, I'm always planning ahead and as the kids get older, I would love to drive something more sporty and compact. When Porsche of Conshohocken reached out to see if I'd be interested in learning more about the Macan, I jumped at the chance!


I've driven four cars in my lifetime and all of them were white, so I was thrilled they had a white Macan available to take out. What I noticed immediately is how smooth this car drives. It is completely different than what I'm used to. I'd compare it to driving a sports car the way it hugs the road. Inside is more roomy than it appears on the outside with plenty of trunk space to accommodate  a stroller, groceries or a trip to Costco!

The design of the car is sleek and sexy, but also sturdy and able to withstand three rough-and-tumble kids. Porsche is definitely built to last!




If you're looking for luxury with a sporty feel, the Macan is definitely worth looking at. The staff at Porsche of Conshohocken were extremely courteous and friendly. As female who doesn't have extensive knowledge about cars, they made me feel comfortable and answered all of my questions leaving me feeling confident in what I learned. For example, the Macan can go 0-60 MPH in under five seconds, in case you wondered! It also has a backup camera and parking sensors, two features I love!

It's also worth mentioning the interior controls/display are top notch! I love the modern feel of the Macan. As a mom who still wants to have a car that reflects her personality, the Macan is practical meets stylish and I loved driving it! I think the kids had just as much fun as I did bouncing around in the backseat and trunk!

We spend so much time in the car, I often feel like a chauffeur shuffling the kids from one place to the next. It's important for me to have a car that is safe, comfortable and stylish-- the Macan definitely does not disappoint!
