We took on a new venture this summer with the purchase of a condo and learning how to become hosts on Airbnb! In six days (yes, you read that correctly!) we transformed this space to prepare it for summer vacationing in Margate, NJ.
My husband and our good friend and business partner got right to work repainting the entire space from a bright yellow to one of my favs, Edgecomb Gray by Benjamin Moore. It's a warm, neutral gray that goes with any decor. Paint is the number one way to easily and inexpensively transform a space.

My job was to take care of fixtures, furniture, decor, bedding and any other items we needed to host vacation goers! You can shop everything at the bottom of this post. Our largest purchase was new living room furniture. We chose a collection by American Signature because they could deliver it quickly and we needed a sofa bed for extra sleep accommodations.

We chose a dark color to hide any potential spills or stains, but also worked with Fabric Seal to protect our investment. They were wonderful to work with and sprayed all of the cushions, sofas, pillows, area rugs AND the new carpet we had installed in the bedrooms. Fabric Seal's solution will prevent any potential stains from settling into the fabric. This was probably one of the smartest things we did as new hosts, especially with kids staying at the condo.

Airbnb makes the process of renting very smooth, but we also wanted to have a welcome note with any information our guests may need during their stay. I created this document (feel free to download) with all of our information to display.
